Eagle Mountain Connection, Tarrant Regional Water District
The 20-mile Eagle Mountain Connection allows Tarrant Regional Water District to pump water from its East Texas reservoirs to Eagle Mountain Lake via storage and transmission facilities in southwest Tarrant County. The pipeline reduces the District’s dependence on the West Fork of the Trinity River, lowering the potential for drought in the West Fork service area from one in ten years to one in fifty years.
