Bob Nichols, P.E.

President Emeritus

Bob Nichols has been responsible for the coordination of many large-scale, multi-discipline and multi-consultant projects for Freese and Nichols. In his present role as President Emeritus, Bob maintains close contact with Freese and Nichols clients, leading executive client visits and advising Freese and Nichols project teams.  

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a masters degree in civil engineering, Bob has been honored as a Life Member by both the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He has been president of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Society’s Education Foundation, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the National Institute for Engineering Ethics. In 2008, he was honored by the American Society of Civil Engineers with the Professional Practice Ethics and Leadership Award for lifetime accomplishments in the promotion of superior engineering ethics.
