Freese and Nichols has been involved in all aspects of the planning, design and construction of the Lake Naconiche Recreational Area located near Nacogdoches, Texas. The master plan includes camping and picnic areas, hiking trails, boat ramp and fishing pier, scuba diving platform, beach and swim area, meeting and cabin facilities, and recreational vehicle areas.



In addition to developing the site master plan, FNI has designed a multi-phase implementation program for the site’s infrastructure development.  Elements of the design work include site grading and drainage, roadway and parking areas, water and wastewater service, electrical and phone service, lighting, park signage, and architectural design of the park’s entry station, pavilion, restrooms, cabins and meeting facility.
