Freese and Nichols is providing engineering design, planning, survey, environmental and geotechnical investigation services for Merritt and Liberty Grove Roads. The project includes designing more than 13,000 feet of concrete roadway with an underground storm drain system, three intersections, various water line relocations, as well as a planning study for Merritt and Liberty Grove Roads.
Planning studies included determining new alignment for Merritt Road and alignment and relocation for Liberty Grove Road. This corridor and associated improvements are critical to development of Northern Rowlett along with the opening of the PGBT in 2011.
