FNI performed a building and needs assessment to determine the suitability of converting an existing 25-year old two-story office building with approximately 10,400 square feet of floor space into the new location for the City of Granite Shoals’ combination City Hall and Main Municipal Building. This facility will house city council meetings, city offices, the police department, emergency dispatch and a community center. It was determined that the building would be suitable subject to extensive renovations. A large portion of the recommended renovations pertained to all new environmental services and compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards.
