Freese and Nichols is providing construction phase services for Pump Stations 13/13B and Equalization Basin Improvements at the Trinity River Authority's Central Region Wastewater System Treatment Plant. Pump Station 13B is a new, innovative, self-cleaning, trench-type wet well design.
FNI is also providing final design and bid/advertisement phase services for Pump Stations 13 and 13A. This designed system will include a rehabilitated 50-MGD RAS Pump Station 13, uprating and rehabilitation of Pump Station 13A to 100 MGD, replacement of all eddy current clutches with variable frequency drives, miscellaneous electrical improvements, new scum piping and new waste-activated sludge piping.
