Award-Winning Programs

The quality of education offered at FN University is a matter of pride within Freese and Nichols. Classes are taught by experts in their fields, many with advanced degrees in their respective disciplines. In 2009, the National Society of Professional Engineers and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers honored Freese and Nichols with the Private Practice Professional Development Award. Freese and Nichols previously won this award at the state level in 2004. In 2006, Freese and Nichols was named Best Place to Learn by the Dallas Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development.

A History of Education

FN University is the culmination of over a century of emphasizing education. Our founder, Major John B. Hawley, began this tradition by offering financial support to students and employees pursuing higher education. He believed that continuing education was essential to a professional engineer, and today, this belief is an integral part of Freese and Nichols’ culture.
