The Lake Texoma-to-Wylie WTP Pipeline Extension was selected as a Public Works Project of the Year by the American Public Works Association - Texas Chapter.
Category: Disaster or Emergency Construction/ Repair, greater than $75 million
Client: North Texas Municipal Water District
Location: From Lake Texoma, on the Texas-Oklahoma border, to Wylie, northeast of Dallas

Summary: This project was a response to two emergencies: the arrival of invasive zebra mussels in Lake Texoma and the loss of 25 percent of raw water supply due to drought. Our team designed the project on a highly accelerated schedule of 13 months.
