Top 100 Places to Work 2010 - Best Midsize Firm
The Dallas Morning News
Freese and Nichols was named Dallas-Fort Worth’s top midsize employer by The Dallas Morning News’ Top 100 Places to Work 2010 survey. We also took top honors in the Strongest Ethics category by outscoring all other companies — small, midsize and large.
To be considered for the award, companies had to provide access to their employees who were then asked to take a confidential survey about their employer. The Dallas Morning News partnered with research firm Workplace Dynamics, to conduct the surveys.
In each survey, employees were asked to rate and rank how true 18 statements in six key areas are for their organization. All together, Workplace Dynamics studied responses from 243 Dallas-Fort Worth companies with 142,709 area employees.
Employee responses featured by the judges included:
1. I would highly recommend working at this organization to others
2. I believe this organization is going in the right direction
3. I have confidence in the leader of this organization
4. This organization operates by strong values and ethics
The strongest showing on statement #1 by any company surveyed, regardless of size, was Freese and Nichols. Statements #2-4 were the ones that were agreed with most by Freese and Nichols employees.
