Congrats to the City of Seabrook and the Comprehensive Plan Team, whose project won a statewide honor last week.

The City of Seabrook 2035 Comprehensive Master Plan was awarded honorable mention by the American Planning Association Texas chapter at its conference.

Shad Comeaux led the team as Project Manager.

The Plan addressed the SH 146 planned expansion, waterfront development and economic development. The Plan documents existing conditions, previous plans and community vision. Public input was gathered through a multi-dimensional public engagement process, which included a community workshop attracting more than 500 people and an online survey accumulating 250+ responses.
