Aviation Team Expands With John Bush Hire

John Bush, P.E., has joined Freese and Nichols as a senior aviation project manager in the Pearland, Texas, office. Leveraging over three decades of experience at one of the most successful Fortune 500 engineering firms, John will play an integral role in expanding our airport engineering and construction projects across the nation. 

With more than 35 years of experience in civil engineering, John has spent the last 28 years specializing in airport development projects and serving in a variety of roles ranging from program manager to design engineer, and construction manager to field inspector. Supplementing John’s broad range of capabilities is his in-depth technical expertise, including his qualification in airfield geometric design, heavy aircraft pavement design, drainage and drainage structure design, airfield lighting and signage design, safety requirements for construction on active airfields, airport navigational aids, and construction of hydrant fueling systems.

He has led numerous, large-scale improvement projects for some of the nation’s busiest airports, most notably:
•Austin–Bergstrom International Airport
•Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
•Denver International Airport
•George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston
•O’Hare International Airport in Chicago
