The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) recently published a request for applications for its Regional Facility Planning Grant. The total funding that has been allocated to the planning grant is $500,000. The grant provides up to 50 percent State funds for the evaluation and determination of feasible alternatives to meet water supply and/or wastewater facility needs.

Effective Sept. 1, Carlos Rubinstein, Bech Bruun and Mary Ann Williamson are the new full-time members of the three member board of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Gov. Rick Perry announced the new members today. The purpose of the board is to "provide leadership, planning, and financial and technical assistance for the responsible development of water for Texas."
