We're wearing blue for Texas Flood Awareness Week

Freese and Nichols looks good in blue.

Several Freese and Nichols offices wore blue to call attention to Texas Flood Awareness Week.

Gov. Greg Abbott set aside May 22-26 as Texas marks the second anniversary of the Memorial Day flooding in 2015.

He encouraged people to understand and respect the power of water.

“At this time, I encourage all Texans to be informed and prepared for floods and flash floods to be mindful of signs and barriers warning of flood dangers. Always ‘Turn Around, Don’t Drown’ – you could save your life or the life of a loved one,” Abbott wrote in his proclamation.
