The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) recently posted a request for applications for the Flood Protection Planning Grant. Up to $900,000 has been initially authorized for this grant application cycle. Typical awards are in the $100,000 to $150,000 range.

This grant can be used to study watersheds in Texas. The study can include hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling, public input, and the development of recommended strategies to address flooding.
