The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) announced on their website that Kevin Patteson has been named its new executive administrator.

From the article: " 'Kevin Patteson has the skill set and experiences that will help us move the State Water Plan forward and help our regional water planning groups prioritize water management strategies and projects,' said Board Chairman Carlos Rubinstein. 'He has a demonstrated ability to understand and work with state and federal agencies in moving toward water project implementation.' "

He will begin serving on Oct. 1, 2013.  ...

Effective Sept. 1, Carlos Rubinstein, Bech Bruun and Mary Ann Williamson are the new full-time members of the three member board of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). Gov. Rick Perry announced the new members today. The purpose of the board is to "provide leadership, planning, and financial and technical assistance for the responsible development of water for Texas."

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) recently published a request for research topics for its 2013 Water Research Grant Program. The intent of the program is to study potential topics related to conserving and developing water resources that are of interest or benefit to the entire state.

Topics are due to the TWDB by 4:30 PM on Friday, April 26, 2013.

After the TWDB selects the topics for this year’s program, the agency will publish a request for qualifications. Please note that topic selection does not guarantee that the applicant submitting the topic will be selected...
