GLO Survey of 2015 Flooding Recovery Needs due July 31

Evan Burn

The Texas General Land Office’s Community Development and Revitalization (CDR) division is requesting communities affected by 2015 flooding to complete a survey, due July 31, to help them gather information on how the regions were affected by the disaster and to capture the needs and priorities of affected communities.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allotted more than $142 million in Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery funding to the State of Texas, with Houston and San Marcos and Harris, Hays, Hidalgo and Travis Counties slated to receive allocations. The remaining $28 million-plus will be distributed among the other 112 eligible counties. View more information

Completing the survey will help the GLO understand the unmet needs from the 2015 floods. For more information on stormwater projects or funding ideas, contact Kelly Dillard or Jennifer Wasinger.
