Less than Two Weeks Until SWIFT Deadline
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) announced that it will accept the abridged applications for the 2018 funding cycle of the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT) program through Feb. 2, 2018.
Entities may submit applications using TWDB’s abridged online application or by paper-copy. Please note that the abridged application doesn’t take much time to complete. And, it doesn’t commit the applicant to take the funding. Its purpose is to allow TWDB to rank projects so that they can prioritize funding to various projects. As a reminder, to be eligible for SWIFT funding, projects must be included in the 2017 State Water Plan.
Additional details on the SWIFT program can be found here.
