Meet Stephen James, P.E.

Freese and Nichols welcomes Stephen James, P.E., to our North Texas transportation team in our Fort Worth office. A professional engineer with 32 years of experience in the design and management of transportation and public works projects, Steve will lead the group’s quality control approaches and provide his expertise as a senior project manager.

Steve specializes in roadway, water, sanitary sewer design and rehabilitation, and storm drainage design. He has managed an assortment of projects for transportation, toll road, and river authorities, and many municipalities and counties across the state.

His recent work includes managing traffic engineering, surveying and engineering design for the City of Fort Worth’s $9 million Lancaster Avenue Corridor Redevelopment, and managing the $13.6 million Walsh Ranch Parkway Six-Lane Arterial Interchange at I-30 for Walsh Ranch/City of Fort Worth.
