Millican Recognized for Design Board Service

TheDowntown Design Review Board passed a resolution at a board meeting Wednesday, Nov. 5 to thank Kirk Millican, Architecture, Fort Worth for his service.

Kirk leaves the board after serving for six years. He was appointed in 2007 by former City Councilmember Wendy Davis to represent Council District 9 and served as Chairperson from 2008 to 2014.

Kirk was recognized at the meeting for using architecture and urban planning knowledge to assist new building and renovation applicants in the Downtown Urban Design District, guided by standards to help bring more people to work, live and play downtown.
