About: This presentation will showcase how horizontal directional drilling was utilized to install over 3,500 LF of gravity main at depths in excess of 50 vertical feet in order to allow the client to abandon a failing and troublesome lift station. The presentation will give a broad overview of the project from preliminary design through final construction, and focus on specific design aspects required to ensure a successful project, along with providing the audience with several lessons learned.
