Eric Potts Joins Freese and Nichols' Houston Team
Freese and Nichols welcomes Eric Potts to our Houston area team. Eric has thirty-six years of award-winning successful leadership and management of large programs, projects and people within the aviation industry and U.S. Army. He will play a critical role in the management and operation of large, complex infrastructure projects for aviation facilities, key water resource development and environmental protection programs.
Prior to joining us, Eric served as Deputy Director and Interim Director of Aviation for the Houston Airport System's three aviation facilities - George Bush Intercontinental Airport, William P. Hobby Airport and Ellington Airport. His background includes expertise in strategic planning, building stakeholder confidence, instilling cooperative teams, and working with internal and external assets to develop partnerships.
Prior to his retirement from the military with the rank of Colonel, Eric functioned as the Executive Director for Civil Works, responsible for formulating the national budget and managing the execution of the $5 billion U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Civil Works Program.
