Gordon Wells, P.E.
North Texas Water/Environmental Division Manager
Gordon Wells is a Vice President/Principal and the firm’s North Texas Water/Environmental Division Manager. Gordon has 39 years of successful leadership and management of large, diverse engineering projects and organizations. Gordon is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and serves as District Engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District. During his tenure as District Engineer, Colonel Wells formed and led a team of engineers to plan the reconstruction of critical infrastructure in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a member of various organizations, including the National Waterways Conference, where he served as a board member, and the Texas Water Conservation Association, where he is assistant chair of the Federal Affairs Committee.
Gordon has a Master of Arts in strategic planning from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies and a Master of Science in civil engineering from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in general engineering.
