Norair Takes Leadership Role for Geology Group

Robert Chambers

Congratulations to Stephen Norair, Environmental Science, Fort Worth, who was designated as the DFW Lead for the Texas Chapter of the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG). In this role, Stephen organizes the monthly meetings in Dallas-Fort Worth by identifying professionals to give presentations with a geologic component.

The meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month. Members and participants interested in environmental and engineering geology can network and earn professional development hours required for Professional Geologist Licensure.

Stephen will serve as the DFW Lead until August 2019.

AEG is the international professional organization in environmental engineering and geology. The Association’s primary goal is to offer information on environmental and engineering geology to practitioners, scientists, students and the public. The group advocates for geoscience legislation, professional licensure, regulation and codes of practice standards and ethics.

Stephen is one of two geologists in training at FNI.
