This project included design of approximately 28,435 linear feet of 96-inch treated water pipeline along with all associated appurtenances. This project was the fourth and final piece of the Allen/Plano/Frisco/McKinney Pipeline System that supplies the north portion of the District’s system with treated water from their Wylie treatment facility and high service pump stations.
The design also included connections to four existing waterlines, construction of a vault for the existing Royce City delivery point, installation of 42", 78", and a 96" butterfly valve, installation of a pressure transmitter in an existing meter vault, and removal of a fixed energy dissipater.
