Freese and Nichols was retained by the City of Bryan to develop a Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for the City’s utilities, streets and transportation, drainage and stormwater, parks, facilities and special projects. The city-wide CIP program development also includes a new street master plan.
The project included several unique aspects such as development of a database and dynamic process for future updating of the CIP, development of a ranking criteria to prioritize city-wide CIP projects, involvement of the City’s independent Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee for community input, development of project reports from database to communicate city-wide needs to public, and identification of funding sources.
