Freese and Nichols provided project management for design and construction of crude oil trucking, storage and pumping facilities in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas. These projects included three trucking terminals, including a total of 644,000 bbl of oil storage and 30 lease automatic custody transfer (LACT) oil measurement facilities for trucking. The project also included nine metering facilities for crude oil pipeline measurement and 8,000 hp of booster and mainline pumps.
Our team provided project management, engineering and construction management for the entire project, including engineering for site civil, mechanical and electrical for the truck terminals and ancillary facilities, construction management and inspection, as-built drawings, and job books. Freese and Nichols specified and procured all equipment and material, managed the schedule and tracked progress and cost using the eBuilder™ construction project management platform.
