Segment One refers to the corridor between I.H. 35E and I.H. 635 interchange, a distance of approximately 7.46 miles. Freese and Nichols provided engineering services for implementation of System-Wide Design Guidelines elements along the Dallas North Tollway, from Lemmon Avenue to I.H. 635. The project includes project management/coordination, data gathering (calculations and required details), electrical design, structural design, traffic control plans, cost estimates, specifications, and plan submittals for the System-Wide Design Guidelines. Design included roadway illumination, bridge pedestrian rail, right-of-way fence repair and/or replacement, and cross street identification at eight underpass structures.
