Freese and Nichols created a District-Wide Master Plan for Tarrant County College District’s four campuses that included an energy audit, environmental audit, irrigation study and utility mapping. This project was recognized as an Outstanding Campus Master Plan by American School and University.
The team had only four months for the project, which recommended $209 million in improvements. TCCD approved a five-year Capital Improvement Program for $161 million of improvements. As part of the recommended implementation, Freese and Nichols developed a transportation study and implemented a $700,000 signage and wayfinding system along with multiple other civil engineering projects.
