Freese and Nichols provided a preliminary engineering study, environmental assessment and design, and construction phase services for a Texas Water Development Board Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program project. This undertaking consisted of three simultaneous projects including the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant from 1.03 MGD to 1.24 MGD, the removal and replacement of approximately 11,500 feet of 6- to 36-inch trunk sewers and 1,500 feet of 8- to 10-inch force main, and the design of three lift stations to replace three small stations. The project also included a major amendment to the TCEQ discharge permit. The estimated construction cost for the three contracts for this project is $9.8 million.
