Clay Herndon is Named a Top Young Professional by ENR
Clay Herndon, a Freese and Nichols project manager in Oklahoma City, has been named one of ENR Texas & Louisiana's Top Young Professionals for 2018. The magazine, which describes the list as "individuals under the age of 40 who represent the industry’s top rising leaders," selected Clay and 19 others from a field of 50 entrants from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.
Clay is a Freese and Nichols Associate and leads our Oklahoma Treatment, Transmission and Utilities team. He moved to Oklahoma in 2015 after working 10 years in Pearland, where he helped develop Freese and Nichols' water and wastewater services throughout Southeast Texas. Two of his noteworthy projects, the City of Edmond Northwest Elevated Storage Tank and the City of Houston Groundwater Facilities Rehabilitation, are highlighted in the ENR profile.
Freese and Nichols now has four employees who have received this honor, which was previously known as the Top 20 Under 40:
- Trooper Smith, now Georgia Division Manager, 2013
- Alan Hutson, now Treatment, Transmission & Utilities Southeast Group Manager, 2012
- Cory Stull, now Stormwater Project Manager in Houston, 2012 (honored while working for a previous employer)
Freese and Nichols has been serving Oklahoma since 1920. Read more about our services and projects in our Oklahoma brochure.
