Municipal Excellence Award, Performance Excellence Panel at TML

October 31, 2014

Freese and Nichols presented, attended sessions and received awards at the 2014 Texas Municipal League Annual Conference in Houston. We were a Silver level sponsor for the conference, held from Tuesday, Sept. 30 through Friday, Oct. 3.

Freese and Nichols and the City of Dallas were presented with the Municipal Excellence award for Public Works for cities over 25,000, for the Elm Fork Athletic Complex, now named MoneyGram Soccer Park and managed by FC Dallas. We accepted the award with the City and FC Dallas representatives at the Opening Session on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

That afternoon Chief Financial Officer Cindy Milrany moderated a panel discussion with the City of Fort Worth, titled Fort Worth: A Multidimensional Approach to Performance Excellence. Cindy has moderated performance excellence panels for several years, communicating lessons learned from our Baldrige journey and how we have helped cities improve their strategic plans.
