Congratulations to Bob Pence, President and CEO, who will receive the 2016 American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Community Service Award. The ACEC Committee of Fellows will recognize Bob and present the award at the Fall Conference in Colorado Springs on Friday, October 21.
Bob will be the second person from Freese and Nichols to receive this award. Jim Nichols, late Chairman Emeritus, received the award in 1996.
The nomination recounted Bob's dedication to serving the North Texas community, citing his integrity and his roles as a member of the Baldrige Board of Overseers and as chairman of the North Texas Commission, North Texas LEAD, and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, as well as PTA president at his daughters' high school. The nomination also touched on Freese and Nichols' programs with descriptions of our community service program and Freese and Nichols University.
