Robert Sutton Joins Freese and Nichols’ Southeast Texas Transportation Team

Freese and Nichols is pleased to announce that Robert Sutton, P.E., has joined our Southeast Texas transportation team as a senior project manager in the Pearland office. Robert’s expertise in transportation planning and engineering will support projects with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), municipalities and counties.

“Freese and Nichols’ transportation partners have a wide range of needs, from major infrastructure projects to specific roadway improvements, and we are committed to providing a highly experienced team with the skills necessary to manage any project from concept to completion,” said Robert Pence, P.E., CEO of Freese and Nichols. “Robert Sutton’s extensive transportation planning background enhances the capabilities of our team, and we believe he will be a valuable asset to our clients.”

With nearly 40 years of technical and management experience, Robert is highly skilled in analyzing regional access and identifying the local circulation challenges associated with major traffic generators and proposed developments. He has managed preliminary engineering design, environmental statements and public involvement for numerous roadway planning, freeway rehabilitation, toll road feasibility, transit facilities and highway feasibility and alignment studies.
