Upcoming TCEQ MS4 Stakeholder Meeting

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is holding an MS4 Stakeholder meeting Tuesday, March 21 to begin efforts related to the TPDES Phase II MS4 General Permit renewal due December 2018. The meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. at TCEQ headquarters located at 12100 Park 35 Circle; Building E; Conference Room 201S in Austin, Texas. The meeting will also be broadcast online at http://www.texasadmin.com/tceqs.shtml

Cities, counties, municipal utility districts, federal facilities, public universities and other public operators of storm sewer systems in urbanized areas are subject to the small MS4 general permit, which contains water quality protection provisions for the discharge of stormwater. Small MS4s in Texas are in the fourth year of the current five-year permit term that expires December 13, 2018.
