Congratulations to our two new Certified Floodplain Managers.

Martin Smith and Bethany Schomin each passed an exam to receive the CFM certification, which is issued by the Texas Floodplain Management Association.

Martin is in our Fort Worth office, and Bethany is in our Lubbock office.

Freese and Nichols now has 38 certified floodplain managers. ​

Congratulations to Edra Brashear, Stormwater, Dallas, who has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Dallas Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

She will serve a one-year term as Secretary for 2018.

Three Freese and Nichols stormwater engineers have recently become Certified Floodplain Managers: Jorge Gallosa in our Frisco office, Martin Smith in our Fort Worth office and Wylie Gorup in our Dallas office. 

Each passed an exam to receive the certification, which is issued by the Texas Floodplain Management Association​. Freese and Nichols now has 37 CFMs across 10 offices.

Congratulations to our two new Professional Engineers – Evan Burn, Stormwater, Dallas, and Ashley Poe, Water Resource Planning/Stormwater, Houston. Both passed the eight-hour exam administered in October by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.

Freese and Nichols now has 193 employees licensed as Professional Engineers in Texas, 36 licensed in Oklahoma, 28 licensed in North Carolina, and 16 licensed in Georgia.
