The Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) provides multiple, low-interest loan and grant funding opportunities for municipal water/wastewater infrastructure, stormwater, green infrastructure and energy efficiency projects. As of December 31, 2020, OWRB has approved more than 2,000 loans and grants totaling over $5 billion. OWRB program rates are often more attractive, saving Oklahoma communities an estimated $1.6 million over traditional financing options!

The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) is one of OWRB’s low-interest loan programs offering loan terms at approximately 40 percent below market rates. The program can fund traditional wastewater projects, such as inflow/infiltration correction and sewer replacement/rehabilitation while also funding stormwater, water efficiency, green infrastructure, and environmentally innovative projects, among others.

To be eligible for CWSRF consideration, eligible entities should submit a request to be placed on the Project Priority List. Requests received on or before April 16, 2021, will be ranked for consideration in the SFY 2022 Funding Cycle. Please note, however, that standard CWSRF requests are accepted throughout the calendar year.
