Chuck Wolf, D.Eng., PE, BCEE

Chuck Wolf is Freese and Nichols’ Chief Growth and Technical Officer, leading efforts to advance national expertise and technical excellence across the firm’s practice areas. With more than 25 years of experience, he is a nationally recognized program advisor who has guided multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects to help communities across Texas and the United States build economic and community resilience.
Chuck joined Freese and Nichols in 2019 with a background shaped by leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, including service as an elected official. He’s brought those insights to helping improve the firm’s operations and providing senior advisory support on significant water and wastewater programs, airport infrastructure and integrated planning initiatives.
Chuck is a Board-Certified Environmental Engineer with extensive experience in collaborative delivery, including construction manager at risk and design-build delivery models for large, complex projects. He holds a doctorate and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Texas A&M University.
Chuck also is a Professor of Practice at Texas A&M, where he teaches project planning and controls; conducts research into community resiliency and disaster management; and mentors young engineers in developing their professional interests and skills.
