Justin Nipp Joins TxDOT CEI Team as Project Manager
Freese and Nichols is expanding our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) transportation services and is pleased to welcome Justin Nipp, PE, as the firm’s newest TxDOT CEI project manager.
He will work with our Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) clients to oversee complex TxDOT construction projects.
Justin’s work is pivotal in making Texas roadways and bridges safer for drivers.
His roles in project and construction management (PM and CM) and as a project engineer have contributed to multiple TxDOT projects for nearly 20 years. Justin’s expertise and leadership have helped improve safety and mobility along several major transportation corridors. Those include a 3-mile realignment at Ranger Hill in West Texas on Interstate 20, reducing a steep grade along the roadway. He also contributed to the I-635/I-35E Lyndon Baines Johnson Freeway Express Lanes project.
“I get to take a set of plans and work with the contractor and TxDOT to build a project that makes this state a better place,”Justin said. “It’s satisfying to see a project go full-scale, and it’s also fun to drive your family through it later.”
Justin has overseen projects across Texas involving reconstruction, resurfacing, realignment, widening and structural repairs of roadways and bridges.
“He is certainly going to be a leader who helps us build our team even further,” said Adam Payne, Construction Management Group Manager for the Freese and Nichols’ North Texas region.
Justin is a registered PE in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas Tech University.
