Nina Reins

Water Resources Engineer

Nina Reins is a Senior Coastal Project Manager in New Orleans with nearly two decades of experience in coastal, civil, and environmental engineering. She is a skilled technical writer and excels at presenting scientific data for both technical and public audiences. Nina regularly presents and moderates at coastal conferences and continues to serve on the selection committee for the State of the Coast Conference. With a dissertation focus on sediment analysis of the Lower Mississippi River, she received her Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of New Orleans and is working on modifying the CHARIMA code with the goal of improving the sediment calculations for Lower Mississippi River produced by CHARIMA.
