Trey Shanks, CFM, IAM, is a Vice President/Principal and manages Freese and Nichols’ Infrastructure Management Consulting group. He is an experienced project manager for financial and asset management projects. His team of professionals applies financial planning and asset management concepts to assist public sector clients serving from 5,000 to over 1 million in population. He has conducted numerous asset inventory and condition assessments for public storm system infrastructure, establishing a prioritization approach for system maintenance, and providing a foundation for master planning and capital improvements. He has worked with numerous cities to implement and updating dedicated funding mechanisms as part of their infrastructure management programs. Working with clients to understand or develop goals for managing their infrastructure, Trey has tailored his projects to meet clients’ expectations for long-term ongoing use.
