Caitlin Admire, an urban planning and design project manager at Freese and Nichols, has been named incoming chair of the Kansas State University College of Architecture, Planning and Design Dean’s Advisory Council.

In her role, Caitlin works with clients on projects that shape communities and support long-term resilience. She brings that same real-world perspective to her continued involvement with the university.

Caitlin’s experience spans landscape architecture, urban design and strategic land planning, offering insight that supports the council’s work.

The Dean’s Advisory Council, made up of alumni and industry professionals, advises the college on curriculum and emerging trends, helping bridge the gap between academics and real-world practice.

Caitlin has served on the council for six years. Her new role begins a five-year leadership track, including terms as incoming chair, chair and outgoing chair.

“Staying connected to the program and engaging with future professionals is important to me,” Caitlin said. “It is an opportunity to share what we are seeing in practice and help shape how students prepare for the work ahead.”

Caitlin earned both her master’s degree in landscape architecture from Kansas State University and is also active in her local Urban Lands Institute district council.
