TWDB Approves $4.2M in Funding for Client City of Aledo
On May 21, the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) approved $4.2 million in financial assistance for the City of Aledo to assist in planning, design, acquisition, and construction costs associated with wastewater system improvements.
The funding is from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and could save the city approximately $988,000.

Mark Evans was also in attendance at the TWDB Board meeting when the Board made the funding commitment.
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning, and preparing the state water plan for the development of the state’s water resources. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control and agricultural water conservation projects.
