Adding Our Fourth Florida Office: Orlando

Freese and Nichols opens an office in Orlando, the firm’s fourth in the state of Florida.

Freese and Nichols expands its presence in Florida adding an office in Orlando, our fourth in the state in less than three years. The location allows an opportunity for more local staff to support our clients in central Florida alongside our established staff in Jacksonville, Palm Coast, and Tampa.

Our Florida teams have been working with JEA utility company, City of Daytona BeachCity of St. AugustineCity of Palm CoastHillsborough CountyManatee County and other regional clients to provide services that include planning, design and construction phase services for treatment, reuse, pump station, pipeline, flood mitigation and drainage improvements, risk and resiliency assessments and plans, and more. Nick Claudio, who joined the firm earlier this year to lead our Instrumentation and Controls and SCADA services, is based in Orlando, rounding out a growing number of firm leaders based in Florida offices.

Trooper Smith, Florida Division Manager, says, “Our local staff enjoy supporting regional clients who live, work and play in the same areas we do. Our team brings Florida-specific knowledge backed by national expertise and a passion for serving our local communities.”

The Florida offices often come together for community service and social events. Recent events include biking for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, supporting “Feeding Tampa Bay,” supporting “Water for People,” and beach cleanups.
