Bonneau Appointed to AICP College of Fellows Committee

Wendy Bonneau, FAICP has been appointed to the College of Fellows Committee for the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).  Wendy’s selection for this role is the culmination of her 30-year career as an urban planner and a testament to her nationally recognized expertise.

Induction to the AICP College of Fellows (FAICP) is the highest honor the American Institute of Certified Planners bestows upon a member. The College of Fellows Committee evaluates and ensures the integrity of the FAICP selection process. The committee is made up of eight distinguished members from across the nation who have held leadership positions and obtained FAICP. Wendy was inducted into the college in 2020.

Wendy joined Freese and Nichols in 2004 and leads a team of planners and landscape architects across multiple states. She mentors young planners to develop new leaders in the field, volunteers extensively in civic organizations across North Texas and has held leadership roles with the American Planning Association for more than 20 years. Most recently, Wendy concluded eight years of service on national APA’s Board of Directors.

Wendy will be instrumental in mentoring new applicants and celebrating the 2024 Class of Fellows to be honored at the National Planning Conference in Minneapolis, MN.
