Bridge Team Engages With Community at Georgetown Festival
Georgetown residents got a chance to weigh in on the proposed Austin Avenue Pedestrian Bridge Project. Freese and Nichols is providing design services for two signature pedestrian bridges that will serve as a gateway into the historic downtown.
Our Transportation and Structural team, along with our teaming partners Rosales + Partners and CD&P, were on hand at the city’s annual Red Poppy Festival to get feedback on the project. Community members reviewed vision boards and learned more about the design of the pedestrian bridges. Residents’ feedback is an integral part of the planning process and will be used to shape the project.
