Courtney Cunningham Named Young Engineer of the Year by NSBE Houston
Congratulations to Courtney Cunningham, Transportation Design, Pearland, who was recognized as the 2020-21 Young Engineer of the Year by the National Society of Black Engineers Houston Professionals.
Courtney has worked fervently as a member of the NSBE Houston Professional board to strengthen the chapter. She has also served as a representative on the Engineers Week Committee bridging the gap between each Houston STEM-based organization, all while in pursuit of furthering her studies to become a Licensed Professional Engineer. Courtney has not only established herself as a pivotal member of the NSBE HP team as the Executive Board Member of the Year (2019-20), but also in the STEM network.
Courtney has also been involved with Houston Engineers Week (E-Week) Greater Houston Chapter as the former Silent Auction Chair (2015-18), Gala Co-Chair (2019-20), and is currently the Student Luncheon Co-Chair (2020-Present).
Courtney will be recognized at the Houston Engineers Week Young Engineer of the Year Recognition Event, on Feb. 22, 2021 during Engineers Week.
