Double Award Win at NC AWWA-WEA Conference
Congratulations to Chris Belk and Robert Vinay, Raleigh, for their award recognitions from NC One Water, the North Carolina organization affiliated with the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Water Environment Federation (WEF).
Chris received the Arthur Sidney Bedell Award, WEF Service Award, and Board of Trustees Appreciation Award; and Robert received the Life Membership status for his 36 years for service. These awards recognize extraordinary personal service to the organization.
Chris is a Freese and Nichols Associate and Senior Project Manager. He specializes in water and wastewater pipeline design, water resource planning, master planning, and environmental permitting. His experience includes the design of 390 MGD of new or rehabilitated pump stations, including alternatives analysis for pump replacements and hydraulic evaluations for pump sizing.
Robert, a Senior Project Manager, has more than four decades of design and management experience with the planning, permitting, design and construction of numerous water and wastewater treatment facilities. This experience includes the evaluation and design of innovative performance improvements to many aging water treatment plants across North Carolina.
