Eddie Haas Appointed City of Coppell Planning & Zoning Commission Chairman

Congratulations to Edmund Haas, Transportation Planner and Principal, who was appointed to an eighth term and as Chairman to the City of Coppell Planning and Zoning Commission. Eddie has served on the commission since 2005 and his recent appointment extends through December 2021.

This Planning and Zoning Commission serves as the recommending body to the City Council on all matters regarding land use issues, zoning requests, development applications, changes to city ordinances, updates to the city Comprehensive Plan and other items in the physical development of the city.

As a Commissioner, Eddie has also served on a variety of planning committees including; Vision 2030, 2030 Comprehensive Plan, 2016 Bike and Trail Plan, and previous Infrastructure Bond Committee. He will serve on the 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update Committee.
