Freese and Nichols Moves Up in Industry Rankings
Freese and Nichols continues to rank among the top design firms in the United States, as ranked by the industry magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR). These recognitions demonstrate our progress toward our goal of providing regionally based service and national expertise to our clients.

Top 500 Design Firms and Top 100 Pure Designers
Freese and Nichols ranked 100th overall with $266.5 million in revenue. The firm moved up from 2023, when we were 108th with $219 million. On ENR’s “pure designers” list, we ranked 83rd, which is up from 88th in 2023.
Top 20 Design Firms by Sector
On the lists for market sectors, Freese and Nichols placed 18th among the nation’s design firms for water, slightly down from 17th in 2023. The firm placed 19th in sewer and waste, up from 20th.
