San Antonio Office Sponsors Bingo for Bags Fundraiser
The San Antonio Freese and Nichols office was a proud gold sponsor of the 2023 Bingo for Bags charity event. The team had a fun time for a worthy cause.
The annual fundraiser benefits Water For People and local organizations such as San Antonio Water System (SAWS) Uplift and San Antonio River Authority (SARA) Community Assistance.
The Bingo for Bags event includes an evening of playing 20 rounds of bingo with high-end designer bags as the prizes. Proceeds help bring basic services such as clean drinking water and proper sanitation facilities to developing countries across the world and supports our underserved local community.
- Water For People – Exists to promote the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.
- San Antonio Water System Uplift – Fourteen (14) programs help ease the burden of utility costs for those who qualify, to ensure all SAWS customers have access to life-sustaining water and sewer services.
- San Antonio River Authority Community Assistance – Assistance to smaller utilities within the River Authority’s four county jurisdiction is the primary purpose with activities to include coordinating, managing and responding to community needs particularly those that were unforeseen or unplanned and/or present health, safety or quality of life concerns for the community.
